this was a figure i played a lot when in recovery that i found had a meditative and healing quality when played because you can play it at low intensity and with one hand.

it's slow so you have to take your time.

in the sustains, i found i wanted to spend time listening to the harmony that the fifths are producing and the disharmony of the previous key changes melting away against the sureness of the more recent chords.

i liked how the rising tones are not linear and while the overall trajectory is moving higher, occasionally the form demands itself into the deeper ranges before coming back up higher again, which felt like recovery.

you can technically play it circularly forever if you had a big enough piano so here are the opening 1 3 5 triads to start you off so you can feel the pattern.
